Fatalities from Floods and Landslides in Sri Lanka

At least 7 people have died due to floods and landslides currently affecting Sri Lanka. The Disaster Management Center in Sri Lanka reported that over 50,000 people have been displaced from their homes as heavy rain continues throughout the night, impacting 13 of the country's 25 districts. Security forces and specialized teams have been deployed to assist the affected and evacuate stranded individuals.
