Independent Candidate Kennedy Accuses Trump and Biden of Violating Freedoms

Independent presidential candidate Robert Kennedy Jr. accused his Democratic rival Joe Biden and Republican opponent Donald Trump on Friday of violating the civil liberties of Americans and the Constitution during their administrations. Kennedy criticized the restrictions imposed by the Democratic president and his Republican predecessor during the COVID-19 pandemic in a speech at the National Liberal Party conference in Washington. The candidate stated that "neither Trump nor Biden defended the Constitution when it was truly necessary." Kennedy had considered joining the Liberal Party after abandoning his run for the Democratic primary but ultimately decided to run as an independent.
