Night Raids and Bombings on Border Villages

Israeli warplanes struck the towns of Aita al-Shaab and the outskirts of Al-Dahira around midnight, resulting in material damage to property, crops, and neighboring homes. Following midnight, the Israeli army artillery fired several heavy shells at the outskirts of the towns of Hanin, Aita al-Shaab, and Ramia. By this morning, the Israeli army had dropped flares over the border villages adjacent to the Blue Line and conducted reconnaissance flights over the western and central sectors, reaching the outskirts of the city of Tyre. Early in the morning, warplanes flew over the south. The "Islamic Resistance" announced in a statement that "in support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in solidarity with their valiant and honorable resistance, the fighters of the Islamic Resistance targeted the headquarters of the 91st Division at Branit Barracks with rocket fire at exactly 11:25 PM on Thursday, 02-05-2024, and hit it directly."
