Arrest of Syrian Who Submitted Forged Death Document to Obtain Aid

The General Directorate of State Security has arrested a Syrian man (A.H.) who admitted to entering Lebanese territory illegally and presenting a forged death certificate to the organization "Orda España," which deals with the affairs of widows in the town of Bar Elias, in order to obtain aid. During the investigation, he confessed that he had obtained the forged document from the mayor (Y.Q.), who is currently detained in Zahle prison for the crime of forging death documents for Syrian individuals. Legal action has been taken against (A.H.) based on the directives of the competent judiciary.
