In developments regarding the murder of Pascal Sleiman, the coordinator of the "Lebanese Forces" in Jbeil, the Lebanese army received his body from the Syrian authorities today, Tuesday. It was transferred to the central military hospital for examination as part of the ongoing investigations, after which it will be handed over to his relatives. The Lebanese Red Cross received the body of the victim, Pascal Sleiman, from the government hospital of Basel Al-Assad in Homs, and a Lebanese Red Cross vehicle headed to Lebanon with support from the Syrian Red Crescent and the Lebanese army.
Sources confirmed the participation of doctors from the "Lebanese Forces" in the autopsy process. Pascal Sleiman's burial has been scheduled for Friday at 3 PM. A service will be held for the body at St. George's Church in Jbeil, and he will be laid to rest in the Lady of Elige cemetery in Mayfouq.
