Meeting of the Arab Six-Nation Group at Saudi Invitation

Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah chaired a ministerial meeting of the Arab Six-Nation Consultative Group at the ministry's headquarters in Riyadh. The meeting included Jordan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shukri, and Qatar's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al Khalifi. The ministers emphasized the need to end the war in Gaza and achieve an immediate and complete ceasefire, asserting that the Gaza Strip is an integral part of the occupied Palestinian territories. They expressed their support for all efforts aimed at international recognition of the independent Palestinian state, aligning with the aspirations of the Palestinian people. The ministers also stressed the importance of taking irreversible steps to implement the two-state solution and recognizing Palestine within the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with relevant international resolutions. They warned against the continuation of illegal Israeli actions in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem, which undermine the two-state solution, including settlement expansion, land confiscation, military operations against Palestinians, settler attacks, and restrictions on the freedom of worship for Muslims and Christians.
