Israeli President Isaac Herzog announced to CNN that Israel will extend the ceasefire in Gaza if Hamas releases more Israeli prisoners, explaining that the ceasefire will be extended one additional day for every ten Israeli captives released by Hamas. He mentioned that he will meet with Elon Musk in Israel tomorrow, Monday, and highlighted that he will emphasize the need to combat the rising anti-Semitism online during his meeting with Musk. He noted that representatives of the families of prisoners in Gaza will attend the meeting with Musk. Israeli Channel 12 reported that the American billionaire Elon Musk, owner of the social media platform X, will meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Isaac Herzog in Israel tomorrow. This comes at a time when civil rights groups accuse Musk of amplifying anti-Jewish hatred on his social media platform. An Israeli source confirmed Musk's visit, who also manages Tesla and SpaceX. Representatives from Tesla and the platform X, formerly known as Twitter, did not respond to requests for comment. Musk's visit coincides with a four-day ceasefire in the war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza. Netanyahu had previously met with Musk in California on September 18, urging him to balance the protection of free speech with combating hate speech following weeks of controversy over anti-Semitic content on the platform X. Musk responded by stating that he is against anti-Semitism and anything that "promotes hate and conflict," reiterating his previous statements that the platform X will not promote hate speech.
