Raisi expressed that "today we are experiencing a painful situation in the region for all the peoples of the world. The bombs falling on the people of Gaza hurt the heart of every human being; the people there want to defend their homeland and their homes." He added, "Despite all the pain and suffering experienced by the people of Gaza, the scene of their demand for rights, independence, and defense of their homeland also creates beautiful images intolerable to the Zionist entity, like a mother who loses her child but raises her hand to the sky to pray." Raisi explained that "the legitimate movement of the people of Gaza, through the sacrifice of their martyrs' blood, has awakened the world and demonstrated that evil and criminal states think only of their own interests."
