Army Stops Syrian in Bourj Hammoud

A statement was issued by the Army Command - Directorate of Guidance, stating: "On 19/4/2024, following a monitoring and follow-up operation, a patrol from the Directorate of Intelligence arrested a Syrian individual (S.A.W.) in the Bourj Hammoud area for engaging in drug use and trafficking, as well as driving an illegal vehicle. A large quantity of drugs was seized in her possession. Additionally, another patrol, with the support of a unit from the army, raided the home of the wanted individual (A.A.) in the town of Al-Nakhlah - Koura, seizing 7 military rifles, a large quantity of ammunition, and 42 hand grenades. The seized items were submitted, and an investigation with the arrested individual commenced under the supervision of the relevant judiciary."
