The Syrian actress Suhad Fawakhri revealed details of her traumatic experience during the filming of the series "Al-Anbar 6," when she lost her sight for two hours after a set piece and lighting fell on her. During her appearance on the show "Habr Sari," Suhad stated that what happened to her on the set was one of the most horrifying experiences of her life, as she felt intense fear after the metallic grid fell on her face.
Suhad mentioned that "the incident caused her to lose her sight for two hours, during which she could see nothing but complete darkness, along with terrifying bleeding from her eyes. She fell into a state of hysteria and helplessness." The Syrian actress commented, "I was screaming hysterically and I couldn’t see anything; there was complete darkness, and all that was dripping from my eyes was blood onto the ground. I kept telling myself I want to see my children."
Suhad pointed out that the incident left a deep impact on her, especially since the scars are still visible on her face even after three years.
