The appearance of a book beside Al-Qassam fighters during the planning of the ambush in which Israeli forces were trapped in a minefield, resulting in significant losses, has sparked wide reactions. The book, titled "Messages from the Quran," authored by writer Adham Sharkawi, was visible while Al-Qassam fighters were sketching out the ambush plan to catch the soldiers.
Adham Sharkawi is a Palestinian writer born in the city of Tyre in Lebanon. He holds a diploma in physical education and a master's degree in Arabic literature from the Lebanese University in Beirut. The author has numerous publications and previously worked for the Qatari newspaper Al-Watan. He published his first work in 2012, which was a book titled "Morning Talks."
Sharkawi commented on the appearance of his book in the Al-Qassam video by saying: "The most beautiful holiday gift in history. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, O our pride and our glory, we boast about you to the world. We raise our heads high with you. Every fame that is ashamed of you is humiliation, and every pen that does not defend you is a dirty pen. We will not abandon you, nor will we forsake you, even if the world were to turn against us. We repeat it with all pride: Al-Qassam is our army, let anyone show us their army!"
