The "Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority" at the "Al-Bathaa" border in Saudi Arabia successfully thwarted an attempt to smuggle "6,514,674" Captagon pills, which were found hidden in a shipment coming into the Kingdom via the border. The Authority explained that the shipment, consisting of "large tires" carried on one of the incoming trucks, underwent customs procedures and security checks using advanced technologies and live inspection, during which the quantity of pills was discovered concealed within the cavities of the tires.
Following the seizure, coordination was established with the General Directorate of Drug Enforcement to ensure the arrest of those expecting the smuggled goods within the Kingdom, numbering four individuals.
