The website "Forbes" revealed that the new athletic shoe launched by former U.S. President Donald Trump achieved early success upon its release. According to the site, "Trump Shoes" sold out in just two hours after their sale announcement on the official website of the new commercial venture. Trump indicated that the new line of athletic shoes would aim to reach younger supporters. The line, named "Trump Shoes," offers three types of shoes featuring the slogan "Never Give Up" and the letter "T," with a price tag of $399 per pair. "Forbes" reported that only 1,000 pairs were released, all of which sold out in "the first two hours."

During the announcement of his shoe line in Philadelphia, Trump stated, "I wanted to do this for a long time. I have some great people working with me on such matters and they came up with this shoe that I believe will be a big success," as quoted by "NBC News."

Trump's announcement of his shoe line came after a New York judge ruled on Friday that he must pay $354.9 million in penalties for fraudulently inflating his net worth to deceive lenders. Judge Arthur Engoron also forbade Trump, who is running for the Republican presidential nomination this year, from serving as an officer or director of any company in New York for a period of three years. Engoron rescinded his previous ruling that ordered the "dissolution" of companies controlling Trump's real estate empire, stating on Friday that it was no longer necessary as he appointed an independent monitor and managing director to oversee Trump's business compliance.
