International Court of Justice to Hold Sessions on Rafah Attack

The International Court of Justice, the highest judicial body of the United Nations, has announced that it will hold sessions on Thursday and Friday regarding South Africa's request to impose urgent measures on Israel to withdraw its forces from Rafah in southern Gaza. The court, based in The Hague, will hear from lawyers representing South Africa on Thursday and will listen to Israel's response on the following day regarding a statement issued by this body. For its part, South Africa has requested the "International Justice" to issue an urgent order to protect Palestinians in Rafah, stating, "Israel's actions in Rafah are causing irreparable harm."
