The Basra Police Command announced today, Friday, the arrest of the most dangerous drug dealer and the seizure of a large quantity of drugs in the province. The command stated in a statement that "the Police Chief of Basra, Major General Latif Abdul Raza Al-Saad, announced the arrest of the most dangerous drug dealer in the province," noting that "after receiving intelligence information about the location of the suspect, an immediate task force was formed from the Basra Anti-Drug Unit, the Fourth Police Emergency Brigade, and intelligence officers. After a detailed plan and a pre-emptive operation, the suspect was raided and arrested."
It added that "the suspect was found in possession of an estimated 1 kilogram of crystal meth, and legal actions have been taken against him, with his referral to the judiciary to receive his just punishment."
