"Written Warnings" for Grain Packaging Center Owners in These Towns!

On Tuesday, the monitors from the Ministry of Economy and Trade - Consumer Protection Department in the Nabatieh governorate continued their tours of commercial institutions, warehouses, grain packaging plants, and spice vendors in the towns of Barqa, Deir el-Zahrani, Dweir, Harouf, and Tole, as well as in the towns of Fardis and Abu Qamh in the Hasbaya district, with the presence and oversight of the head of the department, Mohammed Beitar. A sample of spices was taken from a packaging center in Dweir to be tested in an accredited laboratory, and written warnings were issued to some owners of grain and spice packaging centers, emphasizing the necessity to adhere to legal standards for procedures and proper storage and cooling, under the threat of fines and the judicial closure of their establishments if violations are repeated.
