The southern front ignited last night following airstrikes on Marjeyoun and Mays al-Jabal, resulting in several fatalities among members of the "Amal" Movement and Hezbollah. The assaults continued, with artillery shelling hitting the outskirts of the towns of al-Bustan, al-Dahiara, and Alama al-Shab, which paralyzed the area in the western and central sectors. Throughout the night and into this morning, Israeli reconnaissance aircraft flew over the villages of the western and central sectors, reaching the outskirts of the city of Tyre. The Israeli army also launched illuminating flares over the border villages adjacent to the Blue Line in both sectors. Early this morning, Israeli forces fired heavy machine guns toward the outskirts of the towns of Ramyah and Aytat al-Shab from their positions adjacent to the town of Aytat al-Shab.
