Israeli media has described Hezbollah's downing of an Israeli "Hermes" drone as an "exceptional incident." They noted that this demonstrates Hezbollah's capability to shoot down drones belonging to the Air Force. Earlier, Hezbollah announced the downing of an Israeli drone in the skies over southern Lebanon. In a statement, Hezbollah said, "We carried out an ambush on a 'Hermes 900' drone that was attacking our people and villages, and we shot it down over Lebanese territory after closely monitoring the occupation drones that carry out assassinations and target safe homes."
