Israel Violates Withdrawal Line and Cohen Threatens Lebanon Again

Last night, the Israeli army placed concrete blocks near the area of Ba'thaiel in the Kfar Shuba hills, violating the "withdrawal line," which is unrecognized by Lebanon, by approximately three meters and with a width exceeding 10 meters. Lebanese military sources confirmed that the concrete blocks are inside the liberated Lebanese territories.

Beirut registered an objection with the UNIFIL forces regarding the Israeli violation and demanded the removal of the concrete blocks. The Israeli channel "Kan" indicated earlier today that the wall was found to be built on liberated Lebanese land, encroaching the "withdrawal line" by a depth of 3 meters and a width of 11 meters.

This new violation coincided with a warning from Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen about the dangers of adventuring, threatening: "Israel can return Lebanon to the Stone Age." In an interview with "Elaph," Cohen stated that "for the leaders in Iran and Hezbollah, they think what is happening indicates some kind of weakness inside Israel, and they are mistaken." Cohen emphasized that "these demonstrations reflect the strength and cohesion of the Israeli state. They must know that the Jewish people have always been characterized by their internal discussions, but in times of test, they unite."

Cohen noted that "Nasrallah said in 2006 that he did not understand Israel's strength, and we suggest he not test it again. Israel can return Lebanon to the Stone Age." Regarding the tents set up by Hezbollah at the border, he said: "The State of Israel excels at settling accounts at the timings that suit it. We have eliminated all jihad leaders in Gaza and acted against terrorists abroad." He added, "We can reach anyone, anywhere, but we address everything in due time. In this matter, we leave all options open for ourselves, including diplomatic and military ones."
