Southern Front: 75 Shells Including 35 Phosphorus

Military operations continue to dominate the situation in the south, with aerial surveillance, drone activity, and shelling targeting various sites, alongside Hezbollah's responses using appropriate weaponry. An Israeli drone targeted an SUV in the al-Bazuriya plain east of the city of Tyre in southern Lebanon, resulting in the deaths of two individuals. Reuters reported from three security sources in Lebanon that the Israeli airstrike in the south killed two members of Hamas as they were in the vehicle. This scene has become a daily occurrence, according to Al-Anba newspaper, where flares illuminate the southern skies, aiding Israeli reconnaissance aircraft that fly overhead until dawn, primarily along the Litani River and the villages in the western and central sectors, extending as far as the outskirts of Tyre and the coastal region. The Israeli army announced it targeted several Hezbollah positions after two shells were fired towards Israel. In response, Hezbollah’s military media reported that it targeted several gatherings of the Israeli army around the Zar'ait barracks and the surroundings of the Dahira site and the Hunin citadel with "appropriate weapons," confirming that there were confirmed casualties. Israeli sources indicated that they raised maximum alert on the northern front. Additionally, the sources reported that Israeli warplanes carried out four successive airstrikes on the town of Adaisseh in eastern southern Lebanon, injuring two civilians who were transported to a hospital in the city of Nabatieh. The sources also mentioned that Israeli heavy artillery fired approximately 75 shells, including 35 phosphorus shells, towards the peripheries of 10 towns in the eastern sector, 6 towns in the central sector, and 3 towns in the western sector.
