The Rusafa Criminal Court in Iraq issued a 15-year prison sentence today for an individual convicted of possessing forged seals attributed to the Supreme Judicial Council and other government agencies.
A statement from the Supreme Judicial Council noted that the Rusafa Criminal Court had sentenced the convicted individual to 15 years in prison for having 150 forged seals in his possession, which were linked to the Supreme Judicial Council and various ministries, including the Ministries of Interior, Justice, Finance, Trade, the Martyrs Foundation, Foreign Affairs, Education, Health, and Baghdad Municipality, among others.
The statement indicated that the ruling was made based on the provisions of Article 275 of the Penal Code.
