The National Pension Authority announced today, Tuesday, the "disbursement of end of service benefits to employees and martyrs of the Ministries of Defense and Interior, as well as to martyrs and injured members of the Popular Mobilization Forces who have been retired this month."
In a statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the Deputy Head of the Authority, Hussam Abdul Sattar, said: "The end of service benefits have been completed and disbursed to employees, martyrs of the Ministries of Defense and Interior, and martyrs and injured members of the Popular Mobilization Forces retired in December, in accordance with the applicable laws."
He added: "The number of records disbursed today is 5,969, with a total amount of 65 billion dinars," urging "retirees who receive text messages to visit the cash centers to collect their end of service benefits as part of the December 2023 salary batch."
He confirmed that "the Authority is committed to its previous timelines for the disbursement of service benefits, 48 hours after the payment of the pension salaries."
