The Russian Foreign Ministry stated: "During a meeting with President of Burkina Faso Ibrahim Traoré, the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov received the highest honor in the country." Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov stated that Russia will increase the number of military instructors in Burkina Faso and supply additional military products to the country.
