A source in the Moscow police stated: "The body of 40-year-old Yevgeny Kongurov was found Monday evening under the windows of a residential building on Zoologicheskaya Street in central Moscow. He was one of the stars of the musical television competition "The Voice." In 2022, Yevgeny Kongurov became a permanent artist at the Kaliningrad Musical Theater, and in January 2023, he received a letter of thanks from the President of Russia for his active participation in the social and political life of Russian society and his special contribution to the development of Russian culture. Kongurov was awarded the title of merit in Russian art.
