Fires Igniting in Some Southern Villages

A small Israeli drone exploded in the main street of the town of Naqoura, but there were no injuries reported. Fires erupted between the towns of Hula and Markaba due to phosphorus shells fired by the Israeli army, and firefighting teams from the Islamic 'Message' Scouts were able to bring the blaze under control. A large fire broke out in the outskirts of the town of Labaya in the western Bekaa, quickly spreading towards agricultural lands. Civil Defense teams from the Health Authority and the General Directorate of Civil Defense immediately responded to the scene and are still working to contain and extinguish the fire in cooperation with local residents. Initial estimates suggest that the fire was caused by rising temperatures and the interaction of some flammable materials.
