Dozens Injured by Lightning Strike in the Czech Republic

The news outlet "Idnes" reported, citing authorities from the city of Liberec in northwestern Czech Republic, that more than 10 people, including children, were injured due to a lightning strike. According to the report, the incident occurred on Sunday in a park in the city where lightning struck a tree, indicating that "between 10 and 15 people were injured." The report noted that some individuals lost consciousness, and doctors had to perform resuscitation. According to hospital spokesperson Vaclav Rzehar, five children and eight adults received medical assistance, while the police stated that the number of injured had reached 15 people.
