Fuel Crisis in Iraqi Provinces and Long Lines at Stations

The representative from Diwaniya, Noor Nafea Al-Jalaehawy, revealed today, Thursday, the reason for the fuel crisis in some provinces, including Diwaniya. Al-Jalaehawy stated in an interview with "Baghdad Today": "We have been closely monitoring the return of long lines of vehicles at fuel stations in Diwaniya and several other provinces in recent hours, and I directly contacted the General Company for Oil Products Distribution to understand the reasons behind the fuel crisis."

She added that "the crisis is due to the delayed arrival of the tanker carrying gasoline to Iraqi ports within the scheduled timeframe, but she reassured that the tanker has arrived and the distribution process has commenced to the provinces." She indicated that "the crisis will be resolved in the coming few hours."
