Nasser Al-Khalifi, president of Paris Saint-Germain, has admitted that French forward Kylian Mbappe will be moving to Real Madrid. The player informed the Paris management that he would leave for free last Tuesday, paving the way to "Santiago Bernabeu." According to the Spanish newspaper "AS," the saga between Mbappe and Real Madrid has reached its final chapter, as the royal club has completed its agreement with the French forward for a free transfer to "Santiago Bernabeu" next summer.
The Spanish newspaper noted that Nasser Al-Khalifi held several meetings with trusted individuals this week and acknowledged in one of them that Mbappe has signed with Real Madrid at a rate of 100%. "AS" explained that this information aligns with a confirmation from the newspaper "Marca," which reported today that Mbappe has signed with Real Madrid until the summer of 2029.
It was mentioned that Real Madrid has handled the Mbappe deal very cautiously, as they might face PSG in the Champions League this season. Nevertheless, Real Madrid refused to wait until May for the signing, as was the case in 2022, because any unexpected last-minute changes could put the club in a tricky position with its fans.
"AS" confirmed that Real Madrid fans can now breathe a sigh of relief, as the Mbappe deal is already done, and the official announcement is just a matter of time.
