The owner of Sheffield United, who competes in the English Premier League, Prince Abdullah, announced on Tuesday that the club will rehire former manager Chris Wilder to replace Paul Heckingbottom. Prince Abdullah told TalkSport radio station, "Yes, I have made my decision. Chris has done a lot of great things for the club, and in my opinion, he is the best person on earth to manage the team right now under these circumstances." Sheffield has garnered five points from 14 matches. The team suffered a heavy defeat at home (8-0) against Newcastle United last September, and lost away to modest Burnley (5-0) last Saturday.
