Two Earthquakes Strike Russian Region Within 24 Hours

Two earthquakes hit the Sunzenskaya area in Ingushetia within 24 hours on Sunday, with a magnitude of 3.6. According to the regional administration of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, no injuries or damage have been reported. The administration stated: "At 14:04 Moscow time today, information was received from the North Ossetia branch of the scientific research and geophysical service at the Russian Academy of Sciences that an earthquake of magnitude 3.6 occurred in the Sunzenskaya area of the Republic of Ingushetia at a depth of 9 kilometers, with no fatalities, injuries, or material losses." They confirmed that "all services in the republic are functioning normally." Earlier on Sunday, a smaller earthquake of magnitude 2.6 occurred in the Sunzenskaya area at a depth of 12 kilometers, with no reported damage or injuries.
