Daylight saving time will be implemented in Egypt, with the clock moved forward by 60 minutes, according to a decision by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, starting from the last Friday of April until the end of the last Thursday of October each year. This decision to advance the clock by 60 minutes and the start of daylight saving time comes in accordance with Law No. 24 of 2023 regarding the regulation of daylight saving time, which includes the following articles:
**Article One**
Starting from the last Friday of April until the end of the last Thursday of October of each Gregorian year, the legal time in the Arab Republic of Egypt shall be the prevailing time advanced by sixty minutes.
**Article Two**
This law shall be published in the official gazette and shall take effect from the day following its publication. This law shall be stamped with the state seal and shall be enforced as a law of its statutes.
