Foods to Stimulate Brain Function

Nutrition expert Dr. Kristina Ploutnikova announced that the human brain bears a significant daily burden, especially when processing information. Due to excessive effort, a "malfunction" can occur in its function. The foods that stimulate brain activity are:

1. **Broccoli**: The expert pointed out that this food is essential for the brain, as all types of cabbage contain a high percentage of easily absorbable vitamins and plant proteins. Additionally, broccoli contains bromine, which improves brain function, and vitamin C, which strengthens blood vessels. It is recommended to consume up to 70 grams of it daily.

2. **Walnuts**: She stated, "Walnuts also stimulate brain function. Furthermore, all types of nuts have nutritional value and health benefits. However, walnuts help improve memory because they contain lecithin, which activates memory processes in the brain. Therefore, it is advisable to eat 3-4 medium-sized walnuts daily."

3. **Salmon**: All fatty fish positively affect the body. However, salmon contains omega-3 fatty acids, which help stabilize the connections between brain cells and significantly influence all ongoing processes in the brain.

4. **Blueberries (or bilberries)**: These fruits help solve many vision-related issues. The nutrition expert noted that "these fruits improve memory and learning. They also contain flavonoids—elements that facilitate blood flow to the brain and assist in simplifying the transfer of information between brain cells." According to her, consuming fresh or frozen blueberries helps enhance brain function and memory.

She also added that dried fruits such as apricots, black prunes, and raisins help improve brain function and memory. These foods also aid in stabilizing metabolic processes in the body and restoring cognitive functions. However, she warns against overeating these dried fruits due to their high-calorie content.

The expert emphasized the importance of drinking water, as it plays a fundamental role in enhancing memory, cleansing the body, and stabilizing ongoing processes within it.
