Civil Defense: Recovery of More than 150 Palestinian Bodies in Khan Younis

The spokesperson for the Civil Defense in Gaza, Mahmoud Basal, announced in an interview with Al Jazeera that "more than 150 bodies of martyrs have been recovered and about 500 are missing in the Khan Younis massacre" committed by the Israeli army. He explained that "there are bodies that have evaporated and turned to ash, and international institutions should be aware of the types of weapons used." He confirmed that "2000 Palestinians have gone missing following the occupation's withdrawal from several areas in the Gaza Strip," indicating that "many residents of the Gaza Strip are missing, and we do not know if they are detained or buried." Basal stated that "the occupation is systematically and deliberately using enforced disappearance against the residents of Gaza."
