A Brazilian girl named Grazieli suffers from a rare condition that causes her head to continuously grow larger. Her mother, Adalgisa, experienced severe abdominal pain during her pregnancy and doctors diagnosed the fetus with hydrocephalus, a condition where fluid accumulates in the brain, leading to head enlargement. Doctors initially predicted that Grazieli would not survive beyond three months, according to the newspaper "The Mirror."
Despite the many challenges faced by the 48-year-old mother of three, she shares Grazieli's story, known as the "giant girl," on social media, which has led to bullying regarding her daughter's large head. Adalgisa said, "The word 'child' is a tender word, but when they call her that with her big head, I feel sad because it is just cruelty. But the important thing is that I, along with our family and friends, love Grazieli as she is."
Grazieli's health has deteriorated; she cannot walk or talk and has recently lost her sight. Despite these difficulties, Adalgisa cares for her daughter every day with love. She said, "My brothers' children, cousins, and many family members love to come and see her and take care of her. I don’t work; I just take care of her - I am happy to take care of her, and it’s enjoyable to see her smile. I never lose hope because I am a woman of great faith."
