The Israeli army published a video, claiming it shows an airstrike carried out on a civilian neighborhood deep in Lebanon, without specifying the city or the date of the strike, as is usually the case. The statement read: "Special documentation of the airstrike deep in Lebanon, in the heart of a civilian neighborhood, where Hezbollah is storing dangerous materials and weapons." It noted that "since the onset of combat, the Defense Forces have been working against Hezbollah's military buildup, targeting the organization's capabilities to transfer weapons and attacking the infrastructure for producing weaponry."
It alleged that "Hezbollah places its production infrastructure in the heart of populated civilian areas in southern Lebanon, the Bekaa Valley, and Beirut, using the Lebanese people as human shields." Israeli army spokesperson, Avichai Adraee, pointed out that the video showcases "the scale of the attacks and the numerous secondary explosions and the duration of the fire that broke out in the facility, which serves as further evidence of Hezbollah's modus operandi of storing explosives and hazardous chemicals in civilian villages."
