The Iraqi Artists' Syndicate has decided to ban Kuwaiti artist Shams from engaging in any artistic activities in Iraq for a full year. They are also in contact with the relevant security authorities to issue a decision banning her entry into Iraqi territory. This comes after she used offensive language and criticized Iraqi politicians in a video recording she published on her personal social media accounts.
