This platform offers a mix of cultural presentations and digital innovation, hosting a dynamic digital environment that allows users to experience activities and tourist attractions similar to the real-life celebrations of Founding Day. This includes engaging cultural attractions such as historical parades, dedicated sectors for music, art, history, culinary arts, and crafts, along with mini video games. The performance center will also livestream events, including the Founding Day Symphony concert on the ministry's metaverse platform.
The metaverse platform of the Ministry of Culture is a remarkable web-based experience equipped for Mobile XR, ensuring accessibility across a wide range of devices, whether through mobile phones, VR headsets, desktops, or other digital devices. This seamless access to the metaverse exemplifies the Ministry of Culture's commitment to inclusivity. As a result, a diverse global audience is empowered to explore and engage with Saudi Arabia's rich cultural history. This experience allows millions of Saudis and others around the world to experience Saudi events in the metaverse, representing a transformative moment in cultural engagement. The metaverse initiative is supported by the Artificial Intelligence System for Generative Media Intelligence (GMI) in partnership with droppGroup, droppPhygital, utilizing Hyperledger Fabric 2.5 blockchain technology, represented in the Saudi Heritage Metaverse platform.
