Young Man Kills His Brother Over Agricultural Land

A source in the police of Tuz Khurmatu, eastern Salahaddin, reported today, Friday, that "a person shot and killed his brother due to a dispute over agricultural land." The source informed Shafaq News that "a 32-year-old man wanted to take possession of agricultural land and deny his younger brother the benefit of it, leading to a fight where the former used a weapon and killed his brother with three shots." He added that "the perpetrator fled the scene after committing the crime, while the police arrived at the location and transferred the body to the forensic department in Kirkuk, initiating an investigation into the incident."
