The Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates welcomed in a statement the "announcement by the Republic of Armenia recognizing the State of Palestine." It highly appreciated "this stance which reflects Armenia's commitment to international law and the principles of equality, sovereignty, and the right of peoples to self-determination."
