Minister of Defense Condemns Attack on U.S. Embassy

The Minister emphasized that "the military and security forces continue their efforts to uncover the circumstances of the attack and the parties behind this act," confirming "the readiness of the security agencies to protect diplomatic missions and headquarters." The Minister also met with the United Nations Special Coordinator in Lebanon, Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert, in a protocol visit to mark the start of her duties in Lebanon.
