Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, a far-right figure, indicated that "the complete occupation of Gaza and full Israeli control is not enough; what is more important is to encourage Palestinians to emigrate." This was stated during Ben Gvir's presentation of his vision for the future of Gaza in an interview with the Israeli site "Kikar Hashabbat."
Ben Gvir said: "The complete occupation of Gaza, all of it, with full Israeli control. Jewish settlement in Gaza, but that is not enough." He added: "There is another step, which is the most important step: encouraging Palestinians for voluntary emigration." Later, the "Times of Israel" reported Ben Gvir as saying he would be happy to live in Gaza after the war, noting that he calls for comprehensive settlement.
