Haniyeh: We Will Positively Engage with Any Agreement Based on a Complete Ceasefire

Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas' political bureau, stated in a statement today, Wednesday, that "the movement will seriously and positively engage with any ceasefire agreement that is based on a complete halt to the war, a full Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, and an exchange of Israeli hostages for Palestinian detainees." The statement continued: "The movement and resistance factions will engage seriously and positively with any agreement based on a comprehensive cessation of aggression, full withdrawal, and prisoner exchange."
