The Israeli newspaper "Jerusalem Post" reported that the hacking group "Anonymous" promised to publish documents from the Israeli army's database. The paper stated: "The hacking group (Anonymous) issued a statement today, Friday, saying they have hacked into a database of the Israeli army and are expected to reveal military documents." The hackers claimed to possess over 20 gigabytes of data, including more than 233,000 documents. A video accompanying the statement showed clips from a presentation featuring logos from the Israeli General Staff. The Israeli newspaper mentioned that the authenticity of the documents presented is uncertain. According to the Israeli army, the likelihood of information leakage is low. Last month, the Israeli newspaper "Haaretz" reported that "Anonymous" had posted on social media claiming that their hackers succeeded in stealing documents from the Dimona nuclear reactor and deleting some information from the computer systems they hacked.
