Biden Discusses Rafah Operation with Netanyahu

U.S. President Joe Biden spoke by phone with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding the Palestinian Rafah operation and the hostage deal. An American official revealed that "President Joe Biden will talk with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu today, Monday," adding that "discussions regarding the hostage agreement are ongoing and represent the best way to avoid an invasion of Rafah." A spokesman for the National Security Council stated that "the White House cannot speak on behalf of Israeli forces, but we have made our views clear to the Israeli government regarding a wide-scale invasion of Rafah amidst growing concerns of a comprehensive attack."
