Gold Medal for Ray Bassil at the World Shooting Championship in Azerbaijan

Olympic shooter Ray Bassil won the gold medal at the World Cup in Olympic Trap shooting, which took place in the Azerbaijani capital Baku. Bassil hit 114 out of 125 targets in the qualifiers. In the semifinals, she achieved 44 out of 50. Australian Penny Smith came in second, while Italian Erika Cissa finished in third place. This competition is part of Bassil's preparations for the Paris Olympic Games finals this summer.
