Saudi Al Hilal Enters Guinness World Records with Unprecedented Achievement in Football History

The "Guinness World Records" honored the Saudi Al Hilal club during the ceremony for its crowning as the champions of the Saudi Professional League, for achieving the longest consecutive winning streak in the history of football clubs. Fahd bin Nafel, the club president, and Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus received a certificate from a representative of "Guinness" at the "Kingdom Arena" stadium for this historic achievement. The Saudi team, nicknamed "The Leader," accomplished the longest winning streak in history with 34 consecutive victories across all competitions from September 25, 2023, to April 11, 2024. During this period, Al Hilal won 20 matches in the league, 9 in the AFC Champions League, 3 in the King's Cup, and 2 in the Saudi Super Cup. With this record, Al Hilal surpassed the previous record held by the Welsh team The New Saints, which achieved 27 consecutive wins in 2016.
