Israeli media has revealed that since October 7, the number of military personnel injured and suffering from mental health disorders has exceeded 7,000. Channel 13 reported that the "rehabilitation wing" of the Israeli Ministry of Defense has received around 7,000 injured and individuals with mental health disorders since October 7. This comes after the rehabilitation division of the Ministry of Defense published data on the number of injured and those suffering from psychological trauma in Israel. According to the data, the rehabilitation wing received 7,209 casualties since the Hamas attack. The data indicated that approximately 30 percent of the injured and those who arrived at the rehabilitation wing, totaling 2,111 individuals, developed various mental health reactions. It added that for about 60 percent of those who experienced mental reactions, including 1,267 injured, psychological adjustment is the main issue. It noted that around 95 percent of the recruits are men under the age of 30 who serve in the reserves.
