Egypt Hosts Conference for Sudanese Civil Political Forces

The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced in a statement today, Tuesday, that "Egypt will host next month a conference that includes all Sudanese civil political forces, with the presence of relevant regional and international partners." The statement noted that the conference aims "to reach a consensus among the various Sudanese civil political forces on ways to build comprehensive and lasting peace in Sudan through a Sudanese/Sudanese national dialogue based on a purely Sudanese vision."
