Israeli warplanes targeted the center of Maysaloun, resulting in the deaths of 4 civilians and injuring two others, including the head of the Lebanese Civil Defense Center in Maysaloun and his wife. Rescue teams worked to evacuate them to nearby hospitals while civil defense teams continued their efforts to search and clear rubble.
Around midnight, Israeli warplanes also carried out attacks on the outskirts of the towns of Naqoura and Alamaa al-Shaab, as well as the mountains of Labouna, Alalam, and Balat in the western sector. This coincided with artillery shelling that affected the areas surrounding the towns of Naqoura and Alamaa al-Shaab.
Additionally, Israeli warplanes flew over the villages of Tyre district and the coastal area throughout the previous night, and continued aerial reconnaissance over the villages in the western and central sectors, releasing flares over the border villages adjacent to the Blue Line. Early this morning, the Israeli army opened heavy machine gun fire towards the forests adjacent to the towns of Ramia and Aita al-Shaab in the central sector.
