Netanyahu: Israel Will Continue the War Until Hamas Falls

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar is still in the Gaza Strip, and "we will reach him," according to "Russia Today." In an interview with the American network "Fox News," he emphasized that "Israel will continue the war until Hamas collapses," pointing out that "we have made it possible to create humanitarian corridors that the residents of Gaza can use, even though Hamas is trying to prevent them from leaving." He claimed that "the war is going well and nothing will stop it. We are fully committed to victory. This will not be a victory for Israel alone, but for the entire civilized world against barbarism," considering that "Israel does not seek to occupy or control Gaza. The goal of the war is to provide a better future for the sector and the entire Middle East. This requires defeating Hamas." He clarified that he set "objectives but no timeline for the war, as the collapse of the terrorist organization could take a long time," adding, "I would like it to take some time, but we are making progress step by step, and in this way we minimize losses among our soldiers and non-participants in Gaza (civilians), while eliminating as many Hamas terrorists as possible." In response to a question about whether he thought Hamas leaders, including Sinwar, were still in Gaza or in tunnels, he said, "They are there. We will reach them."
